In the construction of Halffloors was decided from the beginning the use of pipes from COPRAX. As a technical system which is noble, has many characteristics that result in optimal system for transport of cold and hot water under pressure. With the system COPRAX we can execute modern and technologically advanced installations.
Why this brand was chosen?
The COPRAX has a very low chemical affinity with acidic or basic substances, which makes it compatible when in contact with the materials used in construction, such as lime and cement. Results of this feature, you should not have any specific kind of caution regarding to protection.
The high degree of thermal insulation featuring this material guarantees a low heat loss from the fluid carried. This characteristic is reflected in an energy gain. The low thermal conductivity causes a drastic decrease in the effect of condensation on the outer surface of the tube, whereby in certain circumstances it is highly unfavorable in case of use of metal tubes. When the temperature outside the tube is extremely low, it is noted that liquid water requires a longer period of time for ice processing takes place.
The inner surface of the pipes and fittings of COPRAX gives no type of porosity because of a particularly homogeneous and compact structure of the material, obtained by a lead production technology. This feature results in a very low surface roughness causing very low load losses. Moreover, it is not possible obstruction caused by limestone deposits.
Resulting from the high value of soundproofing of the material, the noise is significantly attenuated, or in the case where the speed of the water is somewhat higher or when there is the phenomenon of water hammer.
The raw material used for the production system COPRAX - Vestolen P9421 - is completely non-toxic and meets all current regulations at the international level. Thus, the system COPRAX will be perfectly suitable for the transport of drinking water.
Thanks to a high power electrical insulation, the COPRAX does not resent from the stray currents phenomena’s, which can cause severe drilling in metal pipes. These phenomena are manifested, preferably, when the installation is carried out in large industrial agglomeration zone or in high concentration of strong electrostatic current zones.
For the water heating we proposed solar panels with a double deposit coil Model SK 300-1 solar from JUNKERS. The reason for this choice lies in the fact that the client didn’t want connection to the gas line and had the need to supply hot water at several points simultaneously. As such, we have proposed this model in situations of great need hot water with solar energy and boiler support.
