The company Decerto Design (BAU-UAU) decided to participate in the decoration of the house and provided the chairs of the dining room and office. The choice would have to be bold and modern to create impact on the environment of the house. In this way the chairs chosen were from MAGIS, model Chair ONE, for the dining room and the model Chair ONE 4 Star, for the office, created by German designer Konstantin Grcic.

 

The piece is made with aluminum foot and the seat is made of special aluminum with titanium fluid and coated with polyester powder. All this to make a bold and modern visual! Its open geometry and variable earned several awards and won a deserved space in diverse environments.

 

“Chair ONE is constructed just like a football: a number of flat planes assembled at angles to each other, creating the three-dimensional form. I think my approach was a mixture of naivety and bluntness. Given the chance to work with aluminum casting I thought that I should take it all the way. The more we worked on the models the more we learnt to understand the structural logic behind what we were doing.
